As an Event Set Up / Houseman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and functions. You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet rooms, assisting with event preparations, and providing support to the banquet team as needed. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and dedication to delivering exceptional service will contribute to the success of each event.


  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of event equipment and supplies.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet areas before, during, and after events.

  • Provide support to banquet servers and other staff members as needed during events.

  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of equipment and supplies.

  • Assist with the breakdown and removal of banquet setups at the conclusion of events.

  • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.


  • Previous experience in a banquet or hospitality setting preferred.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds with assistance.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
